1. Agreement to Terms

These Terms & Conditions ("Terms") govern your access to and use of Sousou and the Sousou Admin dashboard (collectively, the "Platform"). By creating an account, joining a circle, or accessing the admin dashboard, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, you must not use the Platform.

2. Who May Use Sousou

You must be at least 18 years old, and legally able to enter into a binding agreement, to act as a circle admin or to purchase a paid plan. Members of circles may be invited under the responsibility of an admin or sponsoring organisation. You are responsible for complying with all local, national and international laws that apply to you, including any financial-services, tax and anti‑money laundering regulations in your country or region.

3. Your Account & Responsibilities

You agree to:

  • Provide accurate and complete information when creating your account
  • Keep your login details secure and not share them with others
  • Use Sousou only for lawful purposes and in line with community expectations
  • Respect the privacy and data of other members and admins

If you are a circle admin or organisation, you are responsible for how you invite, manage and communicate with members in your circles on and outside the Platform. Sousou is a tool to help you organise information; it does not remove or replace your legal or ethical responsibilities towards the people you invite.

4. Community & Financial Disclaimer

Sousou is a tool to help you organise information about your circles. We do not hold money on your behalf, and we are not a bank, lender or regulated financial institution.

Any savings agreements, contribution amounts or payout orders are made between members of your circle. Sousou does not guarantee that members will pay, or that circles will operate without dispute. You should only join circles you trust and understand, and you remain fully responsible for your own financial decisions and obligations.

5. Know Your Circle (KYC‑style guidance)

Sousou does not perform formal KYC (Know Your Customer) checks on your behalf. Instead, we expect circle admins and members to act with care and common sense when forming circles:

  • Only create or join circles with people you know personally, or through trusted organisations or communities that you recognise.
  • Do not join circles with strangers, or with people whose identity, values or intentions you cannot reasonably verify.
  • Circle admins should take reasonable steps to confirm that members are who they say they are and that they understand the rules of the circle.

By using Sousou, you acknowledge that you – not Sousou – are responsible for deciding who to trust, who to accept into a circle, and what level of risk is acceptable for you. Sousou cannot protect you from poor judgement, fraud or broken promises between members.

6. Acceptable Use & Compliance

You agree that you will not:

  • Use Sousou for any fraudulent, illegal or harmful activity
  • Use Sousou to promote scams, Ponzi schemes or high‑risk investments
  • Upload viruses, malicious code or attempt to disrupt the Platform
  • Infringe the intellectual property or privacy rights of others
  • Harass, abuse or threaten other users or staff
  • Use Sousou in a way that would cause you or us to breach applicable anti‑money laundering, counter‑terrorist financing or sanctions regulations.

You are solely responsible for ensuring that your use of Sousou complies with all laws and regulations that apply to you in your jurisdiction, including any requirements to register your activities, report income or maintain your own financial records.

7. Intellectual Property

All content and software on the Platform (excluding your own content and data) is the property of Sousou / CreateEnsemble or its licensors and is protected by applicable copyright and other intellectual property laws.

You are granted a limited, non‑exclusive, non‑transferable licence to use the Platform for your personal or organisational circles. You may not copy, modify, distribute, sell, or lease any part of the Platform without our written permission.

8. Service Changes & Availability

We may update, suspend or discontinue parts of the Platform at any time (for example to improve performance, address security issues or respond to changes in law). We will endeavour to give reasonable notice of major changes where possible, but cannot guarantee uninterrupted availability.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Sousou / CreateEnsemble will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or any loss of profits or revenues, whether incurred directly or indirectly, or any loss of data, goodwill or other intangible losses, resulting from:

  • Your access to or use of, or inability to access or use, the Platform
  • Any conduct or content of other users or third parties
  • Any unauthorised access, use or alteration of your content or information

10. Indemnity

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Sousou / CreateEnsemble, its directors, employees and partners, from and against any claims, liabilities, damages, losses and expenses arising from your use of the Platform or violation of these Terms.

11. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access to the Platform at any time, with or without notice, if we reasonably believe you have breached these Terms or are using the Platform in a way that could cause harm to us, other users or third parties.

You may stop using Sousou at any time. Some obligations (for example relating to confidentiality, intellectual property and limitation of liability) will continue after termination.

12. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes arising out of or in connection with these Terms will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.

13. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. When we do, we will change the "Last updated" date above. For significant changes, we may also provide additional notice within the Platform. By continuing to use Sousou after any changes, you agree to the updated Terms.
